I’ve always been a fangirl. I fangirled Athos and Mr. Darcy and Mercutio back in junior high before I even knew that’s what I was doing. I always felt like I should outgrow it, like maybe a grown woman who loved the characters in stories to the extent that I did was just a little unnatural.
When I found fandom, that was when I realized that there are thousands and thousands of people out there like me, and suddenly it was like coming home. I don’t worry that my fannishness is unnatural or weird anymore. Now I see that it’s creative and enthusiastic and that it forges connections all around the world and that ultimately, it’s about love.
My current fandoms: Black Sails, MCU, The Musketeers, Vikings and, always, Supernatural. I also like reading Luther, Die Hard, The Losers, Ocean's and CWRPS fic.
Past fandoms: Lost, Harry Potter, Lotrips, popslash, Robin Hood, Sherlock Holmes '09, Merlin, Hawaii Five-0.
Current pairings of my heart: Silverflint, Stucky, Ragnar/Athelstan and, always, Sam/Dean.
Current obsessions: James Flint, Bucky Barnes, Ragnar Lothbrok.
I'm watching: Black Sails, Vikings, Supernatural, Sleepy Hollow, Agents of SHIELD, Downton Abbey.
